  • UMCOR Sunday

    UMCOR Sunday is March 15, 2026. Watch for informational cards to be passed out that include a QR Donation Code.

  • St. Mark's Men's Breakfast
    (Venue changed to St. Mark's Parlor.)

    The next Men's Breakfast will be on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. at

    St. Mark's Parlor.

  • St. Mark's Proposed Garage Sale

    The proposed date for the garage sale is set for Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We're currently seeking a lead organizer to shepherd this event! Two friends have generously offered their assistance.

    • Do you have treasures eager to find a new home during the sale?
    • Have you had success with garage sales before?

    March 26, 2026 is the deadline for returning to the Church Office.

  • The John D. Beach Memorial Scholarship Fund

    The deadline for applying for the John D. Beach Memorial Scholarship Fund for St. Mark's  qualifying members is April 15, 2026. An application may be picked up in the Church Office, downloaded from here (see below) or contact Maureen in the Church Office to request the application be emailed to you.

    This Scholarship is for for the following students:

    • St. Mark’s graduating High School Seniors.

    During the season of Lent and Easter, we will be reflecting on a Christianity Today Easter Season Devotional:  Ever Approaching Dawn.   This devotional features 15 readings for group discussion split into three themes:  

     

    Lent: Your Father Who Sees in Secret

    Holy Week:  This is By Body, This is My Blood

    Easter:  He is Not Here

     

    You are welcome to join the class as there is always a seat at the table for you.

  • St. Mark's Community Assistance Fund

    St. Mark's Community Assistance Fund is available to provide small amounts of help to people in need. Please consider donating to the assistance fund, the Food Pantry, or the Church budget.

     

Upcoming Activities

Check out for fun activities you can participate!


  • Each month’s cookie decorating class has different designs and teaches different skills. 


    Big Mouth Baking provides 6 cookies, at least 4 bags of colored frosting, and extra things such as sprinkles or eyes, a placemat to work on, a frosting practice sheet, recipes, and a take home box. 


    Each class is 90 minutes long and suitable for adults (and children over 8) with any level of previous experience.

  • Every year, Youth Group students have a great opportunity to serve, worship, travel, 

    make new friends from other youth groups and have a ton of fun together! 


    We are very grateful to our trip leaders and the congregation for their support. Encourage your student to attend next year!

    Mission Trips are open to St Mark's Youth Group students who have finished 6th grade through 12th grade.

  • Handbell Camp is open to new and experienced ringers and happens every year, usually in early July. 


    This camp is help at Heartland Center in Parkville, about 30 minutes from St Mark's UMC.

    Handbell camp is a place to learn, develop your skills, and have a great time with other handbell ringers.
