Saint Mark's United Methodist Church 6422 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, KS. 66202 913 722 2310
Saint Marks supports Cross-lines in a variety of ways throughout the year. Call the church office for more information.
Lunch Program: We serve a meal once a month. Some of the food is prepared at home, or at St Marks, other things are prepared at the Cross-lines kitchen on the day we serve. We serve the meal, chat with the clients, clean up afterwards and contribute to the costs. Watch for announcements on Sundays about what is needed each month. Sign up to provide ingredients and/or serve with the team.
Christmas Store:We join other volunteers taking registrations for the Christmas Store in Late October and act as personal shoppers, helping families in need, in early December.
School Supplies: We join other volunteers in early July to help families register for supplies and help distribute those supplies in August.
Mitten Tree: Each year we gather mittens, gloves, hats and scarves for the Christmas Store.
Thrift Store: Some of our members volunteer a half day a week at the Cross-lines Thrift store - more volunteers are always needed.

CROSS-LINES provides people affected by poverty with basic services and opportunities that encourage self-confidence and self-sufficiency. Over the past 45 years, Cross-Lines has eased the sting of poverty for thousands of people and helped them return to a life of self-sufficiency.
They come from all walks of life. Some are well-educated. Some are not. Some are homeless. Some are not. Some are between jobs, while others have disabilities that contribute to their lack of employment. They are men, women and children who have one thing in common: they need help and they need hope.
